Slow Food Alameda’s Annual Membership Potluck Meeting and to get the word out that we are currently recruiting for members to serve on our leadership committee.
First –We will be having our Annual Membership Potluck Meeting at Autobody Fine Art studio located at 1517 Park Street, Alameda, CA 94501. This event is a chance for our members to socialize with each other and their leadership committee, look at what we have done over the past year and what we have in store for the year to come. We will also be voting on the leadership committee for the next year to come.
Second – we are asking anyone out there who may be interested in serving on the leadership committee for the next year. Do you have ideas or events that you would like to see implemented through Slow Food? Interested in being part of an organization to help bring awareness of clean, fair food to your community? Have one Sunday a month to attend meetings and a few additional hours monthly (as needed) to help launch events or programs? Then this could be your opportunity.
