Our friends at Slow Food Aqua Terra organized a captivating event that will be of sure interest even for the most knowledgeable spice connoisseur.
Spices are the essence of Indian cooking; knowing how to blend them in a masala is an art. In this class, you will learn how to prepare four basic masalas: two wet and two dry. You will then use them to make the following classic dishes.

Chutney Chicken Curry with a Green Masala
Sauteed Shell-on Jumbo Shrimp with a Goan Red Masala
Sweet and Sour Lentils with Jaggery and Goda Masala Powder
Sambar Dal Stew with Vegetables, Tomatoes and Sambar Masala Powder

This hands-on class will be led by Ruta Kahate, chef, cookbook author, cooking class teacher and leader of tours to India.

40$ for Slow Food members and 50$ for non-members.
