E-mail

Thursday April 10th

We are co-sponsoring this event with our adopted Nursery, Ploughshares. Come take a tour of the community garden and the new 1 acre patch of land that the Growing Youth Project will be farming. Then listen to the lecture and support the nursery by purchasing your first round of summer tomatoes. We'll have tomato recipes from our convivium members to hand out. Mmmmmm….and it’s FREE!!!

April 10th 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.Tomato Night with Michael Anderson and Peggy Kass.

Peggy Kass from Kassenhoff Growers will be describing some of the 60 varieties of tomatoes that they are growing and Ploughshares is selling this spring. Nursery Manager Michael Anderson will teach us how to help these tomatoes succeed in your back yard.
