Slow Food Alameda and the Alameda Italian-American League invite you at a night of Bocce!

Bocce", is a social game closely related to bowls and pétanque with a common ancestry from ancient games played in the Roman Empire. Developed into its present form in Italy, it is played around Europe and also in overseas countries that have received Italian migrants, including Australia, North America and South America.”


John Ratto, namesake of the bocce courts will introduce us to the game and its local history. Everyone welcome; Bocce is a game that loves the novice.

Culinary delights will be provided by Mona of Mona's table.
