Our friends at Slow Food Aqua Terra organized a captivating event that will be of sure interest even for the most knowledgeable spice connoisseur.
Spices are the essence of Indian cooking; knowing how to blend them in a masala is an art. In this class, you will learn how to prepare four basic masalas: two wet and two dry. You will then use them to make the following classic dishes.

Slow Food Alameda Summer Potluck and Picnic

Please join us for a potluck and picnic in celebration of summer and slow foods!
We will hold our first summer potluck at Lincoln Park in Alameda where there are picnic tables, bbq's and plenty of grass for frisbee. Kids are more than welcome; there is a great playground near the picnic area! Non-members are welcome too.
